The Model LH 217 is a unique engraving machine, compact, easy to use and almost elementary in its operation, but of the highest quality construction. This model is perfect for point of purchase (P.O.P.) engraving, for short run name tag production, on site plate engraving, and many other uses where compact size and portability are important. This engraver will produce an engraved product that is professional, appealing and functional. This is the right machine for those "special jobs".
The LH 217 comes complete with a light weight router motor and incorporated spindle. It uses a 1/8" X 1" rotating cutter, burnishing cutter, rotating diamond burnishing cutter or non rotating diamond cutter, and is suitable
for engraving plastic, metal and other materials. By changing the ratios (2:1, 3:1, or 4:1) you can set three different letter sizes from one set of master type without using special tools. The LH 217 comes with either a standard 1 1/4" copy slide, or with special three line copy slide for a smaller type font. A second optional 1 1/4" copy slide may be added for double line set-up. In addition to the basics the LH 217 Kit contains one type font, three rotating cutters for plastic, general engraving nose guide, tool kit, 50 1" X 3" name plate blanks, flat plate vise and one of the above mentioned copy slide configurations.
Our Model LH 316 is a heavy duty professional grade pantograph engraving machine. Top quality all steel construction, precision vise positioning and up to 4 inches of accurate, easy to use vertical adjustment, make it possible to clamp and engrave a wide variety of different shaped items as well as standard flat plates. The LH 316 comes with a very robust single side opening vise for use with most items, and it will also accept a variety of optional special use vise jaws. With a LH 316 you can engrave flat plates, awkwardly shaped three dimentional objects, and with the right set of vise jaws many other objects like jewelry, medallions, long signs, ad specilty products and more. The LH 316 spindle is designed for quiet, precision operation, and accepts a standard 1/8" X 1" rotating cutter, burnishing cutter, diamond drag graver, or rotating diamond burnishing cutter. The three slot 1 1/4" inch copy slide holder allows up to three lines of engraving type to be set, and of course one type font is also included.
The LH 316 Kit includes the following: rotating 1/8" collet load spindle, heavy duty induction motor, four stage variable speed motor pulley allowing 8,000, 11,000, 15,000 or 20,000 rpm, single side opening vise, stepless ratio settings from 2:1 to 7:1 on an all steel pantograph arm with roller bearing joints, lead screw actuated vertical and lingitudinal adjustments, three slot 1 1/4" copy slide holder with stops, micrometer depth of cut adjustment, two hardened steel nose guides, extra motor belt, tool kit, 50 practice name plates, and instruction manual. If the item can be clamped in the machine and is made of an engravable material, then the LH 316 can probably engrave it!
The LH 415 features the same frame and construction as the LH 316, but with an upgraded multi-function vise/workholder. This exceptional vise expands the capabilities of the Kirba product line by incorporating self-centering vise jaws mounted on a large surface for flat work plates, rotational adjustment through 360 degrees, and horizontal (y-zxis) adjustment.
This unique vise assembly accepts many optional vise jaw accessories, as well as our special optional round work vise assembly. With this machine the operator is ready for just about anything. All the accessories and standard components found in the LH 316 Kit are included in the LH 415 kit (LH 415 vise replaces the LH 316 vise).
