Who We Are - What We Do
Our Purpose:
Artisan Engraving Supply Company is a Texas Corporation which has been serving the Engraving, Sign, Awards & Recognition, and Industrial markets since 1980.
We supply the needs of customers who are involved in metal and plastic engraving, sign making, plaque & trophy engraving, or in the
manufacture of industrial components that require the use of engravable materials, sign holders, carbide cutting tools, or a host
of related supplies and accessories. Our Showroom/Warehouse, centrally located in Carrollton,Texas (a suburb of Dallas) stocks a wide variety of products for sale to
these markets, across the United States, and around the world. Today Artisan Engraving Supply Company actively imports and exports goods to the international market.
Our Company Philosophy
Our Business Philosophy here at Artisan can best be described by our Motto, "We don't want all the business...Just Yours!". The point, of course, is that we want
to treat each Customer as if he is the only one we have. This approach has stood the test of time over 28 years, and if you are not currently one of our customers we would like the opportunity to demonstrate
our commitment to this philosophy.
Our History
Artisan Engraving Supply Company was formed in 1980 by Scott and Paula Bradford as a wholesale engraving company. Late in 1981 the company purchased one of the first computerized engraving
machines in Texas, and subsequently three more computerized engravers. In 1984 Artisan reinvented itself and became a Distributor and Service Facility for that brand of computer
engraver, and later became one of the first companies to sell and service laser engraving systems. In the course of selling and servicing the rotary and laser systems, Artisan
began adding supplies, engraving cutters, brass, aluminum, engraving plastic, and accessory equipment (shears, bevelers, corner rounders, saws etc.) to its product line. In 1990 Scott
and Paula Bradford made the decision to concentrate on the supply and raw materials side of the business, thereby eliminating computerized equipment from its product line. Today Artisan is a
full service Engraving Supply Company dedicated to being there when the customer needs us. Our range of experience from actual production, to distributing machinery, to being an inventory based
distributor has given us the experience needed to provide the customer with not only great products, but with solutions for the future!
